Description:
Top quality, leaves exclusively from old trees from very good sites. Traditional manufacturing, sun-dried. The harvest is from very old trees (300-500 years old), from five villages around Bingdao (Bawai, Nanpo, Dijie, Bingdao, Nuowu). Stocked in Kunming, in China until 2014.

This passionate teeproducer is very well renowned and produces original Bingdao since 2008. It was also in that year that Bingdao was discovered in the Chinese market and in the meantime it has become a direct rival of the Laobanzhan, one of the moste expensive and sought after Pu Er teas.

Description:
Dalicha is the Chinese name for the camellia variety camellia taliensis, a close relative of the tea plant camellia sinensis. Dalicha 2023 is made from tea plucked from wild tea trees on Mount Daxueshan that are around 1000 years old, so it could also be called Yesheng Dalicha 2023. The processing is the same as for raw Puer Shengcha from normal tea trees, but the taste is clearly different.

This outstanding Pu Er has been produced by Laenggass-Tee together with Les Feuilles Vertes from Mengku Daxueshan. Mengku is a tea producing region that lies relatively high up in the north, and one finds many tea villages with old tea trees. It is not as sought after as other regions, but much appreciated by connoisseurs. At the end of the 20th century various wild tea forests have been re-discovered, where trees of a variety grow that is not identical to the varieties of other old trees of the region. The tea region is separated in the western part of the mountain (Xibanshan), to the west of the river Mengku, with the villages Bingdao and Daxueshan, and the eastern side of the river Mengku, where Zhengqitng and Gonglong are situated.
