Dehua has been known since the Ming dynasty for its high-quality porcelain, which was exported in large quantities to Europe under the name blanc de chine in the 18th century.

Lin Guanxian studied in Japan. His style has been influenced by the aesthetics and cultural diversity from there. The simple style is meant to remind us of the soil of Taiwan, an island full of volcano, a simple beauty, a treasure island (the golden spots), in the idea that the warm tea reactivates the cooled volcano within us!
