Description:
A genuine, pressed Laobanzhang from leaves of several old tea-trees. A Pu Er of highest quality produced by Les Feuilles Vertes upon request by Länggass-Tee. Traditionally produced and sun-dried.

Pu Er from the village Laobanzhang is considered to be one of the best Pu Ers and hence they are quite famous and sought after and therefore they are also the most expensive teas. Around the village one finds original forests with a considerable biodiversity and old tea trees, the eldest being over 1000 years old. The tea trees are protected from direct sunlight by higher-growing trees.
Character:
The character of Laobanzhang, a village on Mount Bulangshan, is the very strong but beautifully tart note. This tea is still really fresh.
Category:
Sheng Cha - Raw Pu Er
Storage:
Fresh and pleasant to drink, combining slightly tart and sweet notes. This tea undergoes a process of microbial fermentation while stored, during which it loses freshness and tartness, while gaining depth, sweetness and earthy notes.
