Description:
A good post-roasted and stored Bao Zhong (formerly: Paochung) from the 1992 harvest, stored in Taiwan until 2012, rather humid storage. The infusion now has a radiant dark brown colour, the aroma is fuller.
Character:
Intense, many-layered taste, pleasant earthy-mineral notes of maturity and a whiff of fine roasted wheat.

This tea was produced in a relatively green manner, but sufficienty oxidised and then roasted. It was aged for years, which initiated a spontaneous fermentation. This tea can further be aged.
