    Lao Xian Weng
    Laoxianweng is a very rare Fenghuang Dancong, sought out for its aroma, richness, depth and purity of its taste. The mother tree is over 400 years old, tall, cantilevered of the variety Shuixian and is deemed old, honourable immortal by the locals - in Chinese: Lao Xian Weng. This sub-variety has been reproduced through cuttings.

    Ours is from Shiguping, second to Fenghuang only in renown regarding Dancong. The terroir is somewhat different to the one found on Mount Wudong, above the village of Fenghuang.
