Description:
A wonderful Tieguanyin black tea, i.e. a black tea made from Oolong tea-plants. It is for this reason that the tea does not have red-golden tips. The tea has been shaped into semi-lumps (Ban Qiu Xing) like Tieguanyin-Oolong. This particular tea has been beautifully crafted on Mount Bijiashan, in the south-west of the city of Anxi. It has only been a few years that black tea has been produced there. Usually this particular producer makes classic and modern variations of the An Xi Tie Guan, the most famous of Minnan Oolong.
Character:
Delicately tart, soft and light, this tea combines fruity with savoury tastes. One can discover the taste of roasted rice with sweet vegetables, fresh and yet pleasantly dark and warm.
Category:
Black Teas of Oolong Varietals
Storage:
This tea has been fully oxidized and can thus be kept at room temperature.
