A good Shoumei, pressed into cake form just like Pu Er. The process of crafting this white tea is very similar to the one of making raw Pu Er. They differ, however, by the plant varieties used and by the locations in which they are grown, hence also by climatic differences. These are factors which have a significant impact on the tea's taste. This tea shows first notes of maturity.
The tea wears a perfume, a pleasant scent. It's taste is slightly acidic and of a light sweetness. It is subtle and at the samtime very enjoyable.
Bai Mu Dan
This tea undergoes a process of microbial fermentation while stored, during which it loses freshness and the typcal flavours of white teas, while gaining depth, sweetness and earthy notes.
