Description:
Wonderful Pu Er from the state-protected Guoyoulin forest in the mountains of Manzhuanshan. Manzhuan is one of the six ancient famous mountains and is situated northwest of Yiwu. It is often spelled Manzhuang, after one of the villages in this region. Manzhuan Guoyoulin is one of the most sought-after tea forests there, because very few ancient tea trees exist in Manzhuan outside of this forest.

The tea forests were rediscovered when villagers went into the forest around the long abandoned village of Taozizhai to cut firewood. Since logging was banned in the state-protected forest around 2010, the biodiversity in the forest is very high and the tea trees are protected from direct sunlight by tall shade trees.
Character:
The character of Manzhuan is the velvety-mellow note. This tea is still really fresh.
Category:
Sheng Cha - Raw Pu Er
Storage:
Fresh and pleasant to drink, combining slightly tart and sweet notes. This tea undergoes a process of microbial fermentation while stored, during which it loses freshness and tartness, while gaining depth, sweetness and earthy notes.
