Description:
A Long Jing 43 Hao of very high quality near Xinchang in Zhejiang province. It is thus not from the original site of the Longjing. Original Longjing 43 from the Westlake (Xihu) are often rather too expensive. The new varietal Nr. 43 is mostly used to get an earlier harvest at the seasons start. The taste of the tea is more condensed, livelier than Longjing from traditional plants. The Nr. 43 plant highlights the idiosyncrasies of the Longjing in a beautiful fashion.

The producer, who is known in his town as a tea freak, crazy for tea, owns vast tea gardens in the hills around Xinchang and produces a diversity of teas from diverse varietals in good quality.
Character:
This tea combines a nutty sweetness with a fresh citric note, and roasted chestnuts with a delicately smelling blossom. A tea to be discovered over and over again.

Bian Xing Cha (incl. Long Jing)
