Description:
A Baimudan made from the local variety Caicha, which is usually used to produce black or green tea. Since the demand of green and black tea from Fuding is slowing and the price of white tea from the region is rising, more and more white tea is produced from this variety. It is likely that the first white teas were produced from this variety, before the variety Fuding Dabai was grown. This was at the end of the 18th century.
